Shaun MacDonald is a painter based in the town of Nairn on the North East Coast of Scotland, he works in a variety of mediums and produces figurative, abstract and text based work.
The integration of various digital media into a fairly traditional painting practice has enabled his work to move in a variety of directions whilst at the same time retaining a sense of authorship. Shaun is currently a part time lecturer on a BA Hons Fine Art Degree course where he has taught since 2002, he remains studio active and exhibits throughout the UK and in Europe.
